Kinzua Bridge, PA
A trip to Kinzua, Pennsylvania took me to the Kinzua Bridge. Once a massive railroad that spanned a valley. Torn apart by a tornado, is now a state park exhibiting the destructive abilities of nature.
Hocking Hills, Ohio
I recently spent 2 days in Hocking Hills taking in as many sights as possible and take my word for it, there are A LOT of sights to see!! Some of the most beautiful natural scenery ever!
McConnell's Mills, PA
A beautiful state park with more too see than I had time for unfortunately. Many of the trails were closed due to ice conditions, but I still managed to do a bit of exploring.
Akron Gorge
The Gorge located on Gorge Rd. in Akron, OH offers hiking for all skill levels, beautiful scenery; incuding a waterfall and cave, and a variety of wild life.
Niagara Falls, NY
Niagara Falls in all it's glory in the late winter months. The mist was freezing off the falls, beautiful!
Taughannock Falls, NY
215 ft. up and located just outside the city, Taughannock Falls is a must see! Impressive cliffs loom over as you casually walk through the gorge to the pool of the falls.
Finger Lakes, NY
Waterfalls and gorges galore! Just driving around Cayuga and Seneca lakes, there were so many waterfalls and great scenery! One in particular was visible from across Cayuga lake, stunning!
Mohican Park, OH
Enjoy a leisurely stroll on one side of Salt Fork river or multi-level hiking on the other. Great scenery and wildlife every where!
